Trevor is a Director and has over 30 years experience in financial services. He was formerly managing director of Link Insurance Services Ltd for 17 years, before merging with Advisa in February 2008.
He is passionate about providing the highest quality of personal service and works closely with his clients to help identify their true goals and ambitions to achieve a work / life balance and financial security.
Trevor is the current Jersey Chairman of The Personal Finance Society and was a member of the JFSC working party on the Review of Financial Advice (RFA).
He is an enthusiastic squash player and golfer and is currently captain of the Jersey Squash and Racketball Club. He follows the Jersey Rugby team and is also their match day announcer. He is married with 2 boys and is also keen Doncaster Rovers and Manchester United football fan.

Paul entered the Financial Services profession in 1992. He was a founder Director of Advisa Financial Services Ltd in 1995.
Paul has a strong technical background and particularly enjoys assisting clients with complex investment and pension issues.

Outside of the office, Paul enjoys boating during the summer months when the weather permits along with winter skiing when possible. He also enjoys renovating older properties and has recently completed a project in France over the last 3 years.

After graduating from the University of the West of England in 1992 with a BA Hons Degree in Business Studies, David began his career at Prudential as a Financial Consultant. He subsequently progressed to the role of Sales Manager and finally Branch Manager at the end of 2000.
In July 2001 he set up Oracle Financial Services (Jersey) Limited where he acted as Managing Director, responsible for growth and strategic vision of the Company. In July 2011, David became a Director of Advisa Financial Services following the merger of Oracle, Advisa and Hepburns Life and Pensions.
David’s primary responsibility is providing advice to both private and corporate clients in relation to Retirement and Investment Planning. David looks after many key client relationships and is active in several businesses and corporate initiatives. David sits on the Compliance and Risk and the Investment Committees within Advisa.
David is married to Alice and has two boys, Harry and Oliver. In addition to being a family man, when time allows, David is a keen sportsman and is a member of the Jersey Squash Club, Caesarean Tennis Club, and La Moye Golf Club.

After graduating from the London School of Economics with a MSc in Finance & Economics and a BSc in Economics (First Class Honours), Jing Jing started her career on the Foreign Exchange trading floor of Bank of America Merrill Lynch London.
She moved to Jersey in 2011 and worked as a Wealth Manager at Standard Bank Private Clients. Jing Jing became Operations Director at Hedge Fund provider Altis Partners and continued her professional development. She subsequently attained the Investment Advice Diploma (CISI) and was awarded Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Equipped with diverse knowledge and experience, Jing Jing joined Advisa in 2018 as Director of Operations. She sits on the Risk and Investment Committees and is passionate about achieving operational excellence.
Jing Jing speaks fluent Mandarin and Shanghainese and is a conversational French speaker. She also enjoys piano and table tennis in her leisure time.

Ian started his career in banking where he worked at HSBC for 17 years during which time he moved from the UK to Jersey. He later returned to the UK to set up his own IFA business offering a full advisory service on Investments, Pensions, Protection and Mortgages.
On returning to Jersey in 2010 he joined Standard Chartered Bank as a specialist International Investment Adviser before moving into Compliance looking after the regulatory requirements of businesses in the finance industry.
Ian has advised clients both Onshore in the UK and Offshore in Jersey and travelled extensively seeing International clients globally around the world. Looking after the interests of clients and ensuring they receive the best possible advice and service are the most important parts of his job. His career started back in 1986 and he holds Level 6 Qualifications in both Compliance GRC and Private Client Investment Advisory Management (PCIAM).
Ian is an avid follower of many sports including cricket, football, motor racing and snooker and spends his leisure time playing pool and golf off a Handicap of 9.

Paul’s career in financial services started in 1987 working for Norwich Union in the UK, before moving to Jersey in 1994. After 23 successful years he left his role as Business Development in 2010 to take a new position with MetLife in a similar role.
He was then employed by HSBC to take on a role of Corporate Financial Planning Adviser before joining Advisa in January 2014.
Paul’s primary responsibility is giving advice to both private and corporate clients in relation to Retirement, Investment and Planning.
He is passionate about providing the highest quality of personal service and works closely with his clients to help identify their true goals and has attained the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Outside work his main interest is Squash representing Jersey in 3 Island Games. He is also a keen cyclist and golfer.

Having worked in the Transport industry for 12 years, John wanted a fresh challenge and obtained his Financial Planning Certificate in 2000 and then his Diploma in 2012. Working for a bank for 11 years, John offered advice to both Jersey and Guernsey clients for 9 years before managing teams internationally and in Jersey. However, meeting clients and getting satisfaction in seeing their goals achieved was what he enjoyed most and therefore he returned to offering financial advice in 2015.
John specialises in holistic advice to local clients and enjoys creating strategies to meet clients’ goals and objectives as every client has their own individual needs and requirements. Meeting clients regularly is the most important part of the service offering to ensure that the agreed strategy is still appropriate and implementing prompt action if necessary.
Outside work John enjoys spending time with his wife and family and is a bit of a film buff regularly going to the cinema. He is an FA Level 1 Qualified football coach but enjoy focusing helping young goalkeepers as St Peter FC where his son plays. He also enjoys watching his daughter in her Drama and Dance activities. If time allows he may even get the odd game of golf in!

David is a Financial Adviser assisting clients with their retirement, investment and financial protection requirements.

Clair has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years. Previously employed in Sydney, Amsterdam and London by major international banks, Clair now works as a Financial Consultant for Advisa and holds the CISI IMC & Diploma qualifications. Clair has previously lectured in investments for the Baker Platt Law Group.

After graduating from Exeter University in 2011 with Distinction, having completed both a Business Degree and Masters Degree, Gavin spent a period of time working in London as a Project Manager. In his spare time, he studied for his Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma, prior to joining the Royal Bank of Canada as an Investment Analyst.
Gavin was recruited by Advisa in March 2015. He gained his Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments later that year, having achieved a Distinction in the Level 6 Professional Qualification; Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM).
Gavin is responsible for helping private clients and corporate clients identify and meet their financial planning needs, throughout the course of their financial life-cycles.
In his free time, Gavin can often be found near a beach, enjoying a variety of water sports above and below the waves.

Mike joined the Prudential as an Agent in 1984 and worked as a Financial Adviser for 26 years including 10 years with Oracle Financial Services. In 2013 he took a different role as a Client Relationship Manager where he is able to put to use his many years of experience in finance.
Mike also has an interest in I.T. and has developed a role in assisting with the implementation of many of the systems that Advisa uses.
He considers the most important part of his work is to provide an accurate, clear and timely service to all clients.
Mike is married and has two grown up children. He enjoys walks with his two Labradors. He also enjoys fishing, music and family history.

Els studied in teacher training and worked as a key worker in a Children’s Home. She set up Link Insurance with her husband Trevor Griggs in 1991 before merging with Advisa in 2008.
Els provides administration support to Independent Financial Advisers and Directors. She is a great communicator and works to a very high standard to meet client expectations.
Els came to Jersey from the Netherlands. She speaks Dutch, English, German and a little French!
Els enjoys the gym, tennis and cycling, also taking part in charity cycle challenges abroad. She is married to Trevor Griggs and has two sons Charlie and Oliver.

Kasia started her career in Finance Industry in 2014 working for Orbital Financial Advisers Ltd as an Office Administrator. Through hard work and commitment she has progressed into a Client Relationship Manager role.
Kasia is highly skilled, efficient and a confident administrator. She is experienced in building long term relationships with local clients and investment providers. The most important part of her role is to fully support the Financial Advisers in their jobs and assist clients with enquiries.
Kasia has been living in Jersey since 2006. In her spare time she enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with her family.

Jane is a Client Relationship Manager and has been with Advisa since 2003. She previously worked in various roles within the banking sector.
Jane enjoys working with the Financial Advisers supporting them with excellent administrative support.
When not in work Jane enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and socialising with friends.
- Charlotte Lee Business Support Administrator
Business Support Administrator
Charlotte joined Advisa first working on a variety of projects, then proceeded to take an exam in Financial Administration and is now a Client Relationship Manager.
Charlotte provides administrative support to Financial Advisers.
With over 20 years experience of working in the hospitality industry, where she was responsible for the overall running of well-established restaurants and fine dining establishments, managing teams of staff, she is extremely organised, motivated and supportive to the team.
She is passionate about meeting the needs of the business, working closely with colleagues to enable them to meet their individual targets and adds spirit to the team dynamics.
Outside of the office Charlotte enjoys riding horses, running and cycling. She is very active and loves socialising.

Cath started working at Advisa Financial Services in March 2015 after working at HSBC International for 21 years. During her employment at the bank, she worked in various roles, mainly enjoying front facing Customer Service activities with clients.
Cath really enjoys building new relationships with potential and existing clients, and colleagues alike.
Married to John with two grown up daughters Carly and Hayley.
Interests are socialising and spending time with friends and family. Visiting different countries and experiencing different cultures and nationalities.
